Contribution Request for Church Purchase in Mexico City, Mexico

Our members residing at Mexico City in Mexico have been congregating for more than six years in a rented location. Praise and thank God that they found a suitable building in January 2024. After a few months of negotiation and rapid effort to collect donations, they have successfully purchased it and closing was completed on April 3, 2024. The address of the property is Río Pánuco 104, Cuauhtémoc, 06500 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico. The location is very central and is a five-minutes’ walk from the current USA Embassy.

The building purchase cost is USD 1.05 million. With an expected renovation cost of USD 70,000, the total cost is about USD 1.12 million. Over the years, the local members have consolidated a total of USD 720,000 for the building fund from various sources including our members in the Dominican Republic. They were able to secure interest-free loans of USD 230,000 from the local members, and another USD 150,000 from the Dominican Republic members. They would need at least USD 400,000 to pay back the loans and complete the renovation. Since the Mexico ministry is under the direction and care of the USGA, we would like to relay this exciting news to all of the US churches for your financial support and prayers.

Contributions can be made directly to the USGA. Please make checks payable to “General Assembly of the True Jesus Church in the USA” with “Mexico Building Fund” noted in the memo. Funds will then be transferred to Mexico. Due to the needs of the members, we hope that contributions can be made by November 30^th, 2024.
