The 22nd Africa Ministry Training Course

Please read the following instructions before submitting applications to AMC.

This training seminar is planned and conducted by WHDWM, UKGA and AMC according to the Work Plan of the WHDWM of the IA to provide logistical support and to allow opportunities for members to participate in the missionary work in Africa. The complete gospel has reached many countries in Africa. However, assistance and manpower are still needed in equipping local sacred workers, setting up the local RE system, and establishing church building constructions.

1. To attend the Africa Ministry Training Course, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
a. Has been a baptised member for at least three (3) years, is aged 21 years or above, has received the Holy Spirit, is of pure faith, and has good conduct.
b. Is able to communicate fluently in English and any other relevant languages.
c. Is experienced in one or more of the following: Religious education, sacred music, counselling, sermonising or construction.
d. Preferred: Youth Theological Training Course (YTTC), National Youth Theological Seminar (NYTS) graduate or their equivalence.
e. All approved voluntary workers will have completed the Africa Ministry Training Course (2 years) and approved by AMC.

2. Application Procedure:
a. To attend this AMTC, Applications can be found on the AMC website: uk.tjc.org/amc/amtc
b. All applications must be submitted online by: Sunday, 15th September 2024
c. Local church councils are required to submit endorsement for every first time attendee received via the AMC website (uk.tjc.org/amc/amtc)
d. Approved applicants will be officially informed by the Western Hemisphere Department of World Mission by the beginning of October 2024
e. Airfare will be covered by the attendee.

3. Training Course
a. Venue: London Church
b. Date: 5th to 10th January, 2025
c. Registration: 5th January (morning of)
d. Languages to be used in class: English, Chinese
e. Course Descriptions:

i. Lectures: One True God (8), Spiritual Cultivation (6), Holy Communion & Footwashing (8), RE & Evangelism (8) and Water Baptism (8)
ii. Practical sessions: sharing and VT presentations (4)
f. Capacity: 50 (if approved by AMC, on a first come first serve basis)
