Ministry Volunteer Program Initiative Solicitation

The USGA is pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative: Ministry Volunteer Program (MVP) Opportunities. This new initiative is a program expansion to the MVP Workshop (1-Week) and MVP Internship (10-Week) that have been offered in past years. MVP Opportunities are available year-round and can range from short-term engagements, such as a weekend event, to longer-term commitments lasting several weeks or months. We invite interested members to visit the MVP website (https://volunteer.tjc.us) to explore current opportunities and complete the interest form indicating their specific interests, relevant skills, and availability.

Application Process:

  1. Submit the Interest Form – Applicants can submit and update the interest form at any time, as opportunities are updated as they become available.
  2. Endorsement by Local Church Council – After submission, the local church council will need to complete an endorsement form for the applicant.
  3. Interview (if necessary) – If deemed necessary and relevant, an interview will be conducted.

Potential Ministry Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Music Ministry Projects
  • Pastoral Ministry Support
  • Literary Ministry Projects
  • Training Department Projects
  • Administrative Department Projects

Volunteer Eligibility:

The volunteer opportunities are open to all members who are 18 or older. Working professionals, students, and anyone with a heart to serve are encouraged to participate.

We hope that each local church and house of prayer will inform and encourage members to participate in this initiative to serve the Lord. Once volunteers are endorsed and assigned for a ministry opportunity, they will be contacted directly with further details.

If you have any questions regarding this initiative, please contact the MVP Working Team at mvp@tjc.org. Please keep this initiative and the ministry in the United States in your prayers.
